I had the afternoon free, so I drove up to Estes Park for a little photo shoot. The drive up there is absolutely gorgeous! Hopefully I will have more to upload soon!

I've become a little obsessed with reflections lately....

Colorado Sunset

Hwy 36 North...

I went for a drive north on Hwy 36 towards Boulder the other day. There was a scenic pullout there that I had been meaning to stop at for ages. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the break...

On the road again....

I feel like we've been driving forever!! Between making the trip to and from Victoria and then all the way to Missouri - it really does seem like it's a never-ending road! :) But it's been fun - we love our road trips! We made it to Bolivar, MO and are staying in a tiny little hotel for the next few days. They have very intermittent internet, and between that and all the stuff to do for the wedding, I will most likely be posting photos when I get home!

CAMPING!!!

My family loves camping, and French Beach Campground is one of our favourite spots! We were there for a number of days and enjoyed ourselves immensely! We haven't been camping as a family for a few years, so this was a big treat! Here are a few of my favourite shots from the trip...

Our Mt. Evans adventure...

Luke took me for a drive up to the top of Mt. Evans today! We had a wonderful time! What an amazing drive that is! I recommend it to anyone who is in the I-70 corridor area - it is a must see! Apparently the weather is only good enough for the road up to the top to stay open a few weeks out of the year, in the summer obviously, so take advantage of it while you can! :)

I did learn though, that when you have a Jeep, you're expected to drive through every mud puddle, water puddle, etc that you can....sometimes this is fun, and sometimes this can turn out badly! :) Luke saw this giant puddle of water, and decided to show his crazy manliness and drive on through it - well it was SO DEEP!! We got majorly stuck....like majorly! Another Jeep eventually drove by, and we hooked up to them and they pulled us out. It was quite the adventure :) I will have to try and edit some of the "stuck" photos soon - the only problem was that we were so stuck and in so deep that I was unable to get out - so I could only take photos of the water seeping in around us! haha! Good times all around though!

The changing of the leaves....

I got the chance to wander around Lyons, CO all by myself yesterday. I checked out the local cemetery, Meadow Park, and the little downtown core - it was great fun!

Luke and I went for a drive up to Estes Park yesterday and had a fabulous time! Just a couple scenery pics....
