I had the afternoon free, so I drove up to Estes Park for a little photo shoot. The drive up there is absolutely gorgeous! Hopefully I will have more to upload soon!

Changing of the Aspens...

The changing of the aspens is a magical time in Colorado - so golden! Luke and I went up to the mountains for my birthday and spent the day shooting photos and enjoying spending time with one another. It was lovely!

macro goodness

I got a new lens the other day, a macro lens!! :) I'm very excited about it - it's pretty sweet! These are my first attempts at some macro......more to come, I assure you!

Colorado Sunset

Hwy 36 North...

I went for a drive north on Hwy 36 towards Boulder the other day. There was a scenic pullout there that I had been meaning to stop at for ages. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the break...

Time for a park break....

I went to the park with the kids the other day and Roman was able to ride his bike - we walked and rode a mile!

On the road again....

I feel like we've been driving forever!! Between making the trip to and from Victoria and then all the way to Missouri - it really does seem like it's a never-ending road! :) But it's been fun - we love our road trips! We made it to Bolivar, MO and are staying in a tiny little hotel for the next few days. They have very intermittent internet, and between that and all the stuff to do for the wedding, I will most likely be posting photos when I get home!

CAMPING!!!

My family loves camping, and French Beach Campground is one of our favourite spots! We were there for a number of days and enjoyed ourselves immensely! We haven't been camping as a family for a few years, so this was a big treat! Here are a few of my favourite shots from the trip...
